Y, please be careful with putting L in the carseat with her jacket still on. The chest clip is meant to be buckled at her chest (nipple area), not down low towards her pelvis. Also, there should only be about a fingertip of space between the strap and her body. In the photo above the chest clip is too low and the straps appear to be too loose. Check the manual of the carseat for details. And yes, gas is expensive!
