On the Boat

For the first time in our lives, we are now boat owners.

Our first time driving the boat. 

 After Mommy and Daddy became familiar with the boat, we took Noodle and the doggies for their first ride.

At the Zoo

We have been enjoying the fantastic Spring weather at the zoo.

She gets to drive her car from animal exhibit to exhibit. 

Among our new friends are the loud parakeets,

roaring lions,

playful pandas,

sleeping tortouises,

elegant flamingos,

and smelly elephants among others.

 In the petting zoo, Noodle gets to pet the pigs,

 comb the goats,

and feed them too.

She has been having a blast meeting all the animals and from week to week she has established a few favorites. 

We are looking forward to experiencing the new giraffe feeding station that is about to open, in the mid-time the statue of the giraffe has been entertaining enough. 

Reading

Noodle LOVES books. 

Lately she has branched out from only listening to stories, to pretending she can read them. 

When she "reads", she is only is narrating from memory what she has understood the story to be and most times she does a really good job of relating the essence of the story.

With Mommy's new phone I can film Noodle and she can see herself as I film her,  she is having fun with the new "toy" 

Still loving Mr. Michael

Noodle still enjoys music class with Mr. Michael, she now loves it even more because she can sing along to the songs. 

Lately she likes enjoying class with one little toy. 

Last week black horsie came along for the class and was actively involved.

Colors with M&M's

I would love to be one of the Moms that is able to say that there kids are all into health foods, but I have to admit that the best way to get Noodle to tell you the colors correctly is with the help of these little guys.

Normally if you ask her which color is what, she laughs and mocks you by telling you wrong colors, but we know she knows them because when M&M's are involved she ALWAYS gets them right.

Easter Season

The Easter season is upon is and with it come several Easter Egg Hunts. 

Today we attended the first for the year. 

On your mark, get set...

 Go!

 She keeps saying: "This is so much fun!"

 We had an opportunity to visit with some firefighters that attended the event

 and Noodle got to drive the fireman's truck

 Then, all the kiddos behaved during lunch at their favorite place, Chick-Fil-A.

Fishing with Daddy

Daddy took Little on her first fishing excursion at the lake. 

With some old bread and a new fishing pole within 15 minutes they had their first fish.

Little has been so excited about her fishing, she has been sharing her story with anyone that can understand her (it helps to have Mommy around for a little toddler translation).
